Southwark hold monthly cabinet meeting on the Brandon

Southwark Council have chosen the Jack Hobbs club to be the first external location to hold the monthly cabinet meeting outside of Tooley Street.

The hall has been set up to host a corporate meeting with all 16 cabinet members, and seating for 40 members of the public.

One of the main topics discussed was the Great Estates initiative, as it has been agreed to continue this programme beyond the pilot scheme which saw the Brandon make significant improvements. Following the cabinet meeting, a number of the cabinet members attended a walkabout across the estate to look at the successful Great Estates projects that were delivered on the Brandon.

The pictures below show just how versatile the space is, when set up for a corporate hire event.
